Passenger:  Up to 1975 (embossed "76" expiration), Mississippi issued yearly plates.  Starting with the 1976 bicentennial base (screened "'77" expiration), Mississippi has issued multiyear plates that are renewed with a sticker.  Periodically, the state has issued a new design and replaced everyone's plate.  Because Mississippi county codes the plates, the pages can get enormous to download.  I have a large selection of counties on different bases, so beginning with the 1987 white "1AAA000" plate, I have split the pages into the following bases, each being a link to my website page of that type:

Pre-1987 white "1AAA000" base

1987 white base

1993 fading blue base

1997 large magnolia flower base

2002 small magnolia flower base

2007 Biloxi Lighthouse base

1997 large magnolia flower base:  The following "large magnolia flower" design was introduced in 1997 ("98" expiration sticker) and ran through 2002 ("03" expiration sticker).  The passenger plate number format was "AAA 000" with the county name embossed at the bottom.
