1975 dateless base:  Similar to the previous "74" design, but with the date again removed.  Varieties exist on this base in the plate number spacing.  The standard county coding is at the left and the explanation can be found on the Idaho county codes page.

1975 dateless, non-county coded base:  Similar to the above undated 1975 base, with the date removed, but without the county coding at the left.  These motorcycle plates used reserved plate numbers in the "MAA" to "MZZ" block.

1985 dateless, non-county coded base:  Similar to the previous undated 1975 base, but with "IDAHO" at the top and "MOTORCYCLE" at the bottom.  These motorcycle plates also used reserved plate numbers in the "MAA" to "MZZ" block.

1991 red/white/blue base:  This design was born from the popular centennial design.  This is a small sized plate with a "MAA 000" plate number format, the leading "M" meaning the plate is for a motorcycle.  ("B" would indicate the plate as a boat trailer plate and a "U" for a utility trailer.)  This design is not county coded.
